Marry my husband (2024) - Kdrama - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Another Park Min-young drama successfully managed to keep me hooked up!
“Marry my husband - 내 남편과 결혼해줘” is the first drama that I started in 2024. I was looking forward to watch it as, I have to admit, I liked pretty much all the drama that Park Min-young starred in. It did not disappoint me!

Review:
From the first episode I have been hooked up by this drama. I really enjoyed how the character of Kwon Ji-won evolved from a pushover to an asserted woman. Par Min-young did a really good job protraying it. I also really loved the couple of villain. Before this serie I only knew Lee Yi-kyung as the “괜찮아 , 괜찮아” guy from Welcome To Waikiki, so seeing him as a villain was surprising. From my opinion he pulled it off really well. Same for Song Ha-yoon, I only saw her in Fight For My Way, portraying a cute character. So when I watched her going from really cute to a really abject woman, in less than a second, I loved it.
Overall I liked this drama as it surprised me. I was ready for a revenge oriented drama, like Again My Life, The Glory or The World of The Married but I was served with a mix of melodrama, humour and revenge. Kang Ji-won, rather than being focused only on getting her revenge, is also working on growing, learning from her mistakes from her past life but also helping other women around her. This gave the support role really nice story lines too.
The real negative point was the introduction of the fiancé, played by an unrecognisable BoA, that for me was too much. Even if the finale explained her presence I think the drama would have gone pretty well without it. Another side is that I didn’t really get attached to Yoo Ji-hyuk character he was too much of a cliche for me and I prefered Yoo Hui-yeon to him.
